Bought this after sniffing the free sample I got and decided to skip the batch test and just make a full recipe. Yeah yeah, I know, not the smartest move BUT it isn't a floral so I thought I'd have a good sporting chance of a successful 15lb batch of soap.
My swirls are usually quite intricate so i soap around 90F and go light on the stick blender but for the first batch, I thought I'd go down a bit cooler.
Used as a single note, this FO rices and accelerates a bit HOWEVER, you just need to work fast. First time using it I was doing pipe swirls and it was really messy....no way the swirls were gonna look good, I thought. And I honestly thought the scent was going to be a one time novelty experiment BUT, the swirls looked great and the scent quickly turned out to be one of my best sellers.
Sure, it can be tricky to work with BUT oh so worth it. The swirls I do with this fragrance are now a bit more basic (only 3 colors) and each time I think it traces too fast to look good but despite what is happening on the surface, the insides do swirl up nicely. Just go slow and cool and trust in the process.
Used as a note in a blend, the ricing and acceleration does diminish significantly and this FO is a wonderful blender.
